Pre Employment Medicals
The purpose of a medical assessment of a potential employee before entering into a contractual obligation is to ascertain if the individual is fit to carry out the tasks of the job and that they do not have underlying medical conditions that may put them at an increased risk of harm.
- To be effective our pre employment assessments are specifically tailored to the individual’s organisations, tasks and future exposure to hazards as is noise, dust, hazardous substances, manual handling etc.The objectives of pre employment medicals are: Screen for medical problems that may prelude an applicant from undertaking the duties of a particular position
- Determine if there are any medical conditions that may be exacerbated by the duties of a particular position.
- Document baselines for comparison in the future, such as lung function, hearing and monitoring for hazardous substances exposure effects.
